Production of Your Web Site |

The many pieces of content, graphics, wireframes and templates all come together now to start forming the final web site. This is where all the preparation work starts to form something concrete and solid. The result; your web site.
As content is add, edited and put into place, you will have the opportunity to view the site as it is put together. You'll be asked at times to review certain pages to make certain that everything is understood. Some items may not work on your first sneek peek, but rest assured, it will all come together in the end. Much like building a house, there are moments where it appears to be a disaster then suddenly it all comes together in a finished work of art.
Before generating too much content, we need to develop a set of standards for the site. This includes naming conventions for pages, elements and layers (if used). We also assess the projects status to see if any timelines need adjusting based upon any changes requested or factors. We also plan the site folder structure and create any needed security settings on the server.
It has taken a long time to get here, but we are finally ready to begin building the actual web site. Up to this point we've had an empty shell of pages. Now we add the content and remaining graphics/pictures. Because of the preparation we have done prior, this step becomes much easier than with no planning. We slice and optimize images, create the finished templates and wireframes and create the light scripting for things such as button rollovers, etc.
Next we focus on populating the pages with the real meat of the site; content. While this is being done, any backend develpment needed is installed and created. This includes CGI scripts for forms, database creation, ecommerce configuration, newletter functionality, and installation of other needed server software.
